Balancing Buddies provides care for infants, 1 year olds, and 2 year olds – preparing the little ones for a healthy preschool experience.  Our infants are lovingly cared for in a bright, colorful and stimulating setting with low infant to teacher ratios.  A large, safe and enclosed play area within the room allows the little ones freedom to practice scooting and crawling safely - so important in motor development. 

When our infants become mobile and ready to explore, we begin a move to our Transition 1 room.  This room is a safe stimulating area for walkers to learn and discover while receiving loving care.  You'll find blocks, puzzles, and books for the toddlers to enjoy.  An area with a kitchen and 'home items' encourages imagination.  Toddler sized tables, shelves and play items maximize learning and safety.

When our toddlers are ready to begin potty training we begin a move to our Transition 2 room.  This room provides structure thru group activities, while continuing to encourage individual growth.  A step by step program for potty training is used as the child shows signs of interest in "departing diaper days." The room is bright and colorful, and you'll find books, puzzles, blocks, imaginary play areas- all appropriate for the two year old.  Our two year olds use the gymnastics facility under the supervision of their teachers at least twice weekly.  You'll find them rolling, jumping, balancing, and playing with appropriate gymnastics equipment. 

Childcare at Balancing Buddies is fun, active and safe.  The staff understands the needs and characteristics of these young children, and provide activities that will strengthen motor, social, language and cognitive abilities – all while having fun and being busy and active.
