Our compassionate teachers have many years of experience working with young people. They share a desire to help children develop physically and mentally and are dedicated to the field of education. All Balancing Buddies Preschool and After School Care staff are CPR and First Aid Trained and Certified.

AMY HINDS
Born in Myrtle Beach, SC. Graduated from Winthrop University in 2009 with a K-12 Teach Certification in Dance Education. Employed at Balancing Buddies since 2010. Front desk receptionist and administrative assistant. Hobbies include; reading, boating, spending time with family, and shopping.

CHRISTINE WILLIAMS
Born in Mechanicville, MD. Moved to Myrtle Beach in 2010. Currently a student at Coastal Carolina University studying Early Childhood Education. Employed at Balancing Buddies since 2010. Caregiver in the Infant Room. Hobbies include; cheering, making bows, taking pictures, shopping, and spending time at the beach.
CINDY OSBORNE
Graduated from Western Carolina University with an Arts Education degree. Lived in Myrtle Beach for 16 years. Married with two children; Kate and Brent. Employed at Balancing Buddies since August 2010. Lead teacher in K-4 Room and assists in the Transition 2 Room. Hobbies include; camping, boating, drawing, visiting historical places, and museums.
GINGER COOPER
Graduated Conway High School in 1995, and has lived in Conway for 33 years. Has three children; Marissa, Dontavion, and Brailin. Has worked as a teacher’s aide for Horry County Schools 2001-2007 and worked as a youth program assistant at Pepper Geddings Recreation Center. Employed at Balancing Buddies since April 2010. Lead teacher in the Transition 1 Room. Hobbies include; basketball, spending time with her children and listening to music.
LIZ SMOLEY
Born in Pittsburgh, PA. Moved to Myrtle Beach in 2008. Employed at Gymnastics Inc and Balancing Buddies since 2008. Gymnastics Coach and Head Coach for the pre-competitive Pink Team “Mini Tumblers”. Hobbies include; painting, growing succulent flowers, playing with her dogs and dancing.
NICHOLAS ALLISON
Born in the ‘Pro Football Hall of Fame City’ Canton, Ohio. Received his Child Development Associates credentials in 2005. Has worked in preschools since 2001. Employed at Balancing Buddies since July 2006. Lead teacher in the K-4 Room. Hobbies include; boogie boarding, body surfing, eating seafood and ice cream, land golfing at Captain Hooks and Mt Atlantis.
PATRICIA FLOYD
Moved to Myrtle Beach in 1980 from Philadelphia, PA. Graduated from Horry Georgetown Technical College with a Child Development Certification. Has worked in education for 20 years with three’s and four’s and Kindergarten students. Employed at Balancing Buddies since 2010. Lead teacher in the K-3 Room. Hobbies include; reading, scrapbooking, and taking pictures.
VALETTA BURGESS
Born in Columbia, SC. Graduated from Howard University in Washington DC with a degree in Mass Communications. Employed at Balancing Buddies since 2010. Teacher in the Gymnastics Inc After School Program. Assists in the Transition 2 Room. Hobbies include; playing piano, soccer, and reading.
